A Cup of Tea

As I told you before that I got so many advantages by using twitter in the internet, not only following news update, but also getting new inspiration.

One of inspirations that I got from twitter is a lesson that hidden in a cup of tea. We sometimes consume a cup of tea without any thinking what lesson behind it, but after reading this, I start to understand that there is a lesson in our common habitual action.
Further, I believe that so many lessons that we will get from every single thing that common to do in our daily life as long as we concern about :)


A Cup Of Tea
" A group of students, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old teacher. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests tea, the teacher went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of tea and an assortment of cups – porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to the tea.

When all the students had a cup of tea in hand, the professor said: ‘If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the tea. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was tea, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups… And then you began eyeing each other’s cups too.

Now consider this: Life is the tea; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the tea Allah has provided us.’ Allah brews the tea, not the cups. Enjoy tea. "

Hohoho, one day, I was watching tv and seeing the commercial break, yeah. There was an unique product named Twister! I don't like the product actually, but I like the name of the product. Hohooh

Perhaps you wonder whether I am expert or not in twisting word, so please believe me that being expert in twisting costs much thing, not also you need much more time to practice but also you have to be ready for feeling something numb in your tongue. Hohoohho.

So, how expert I am in twisting word? Hahaha perhaps reminding "Mr. Pronunciation" that I got when I joined an english course will suite you. Hahahaha, trust me, that's name-caller is not because of my expertise in twisting, but in how bad I was! LMAO

Obrolan Menikah

Hari Senin pertama di bulan Ramadan 1433H selepas kegiatan kampus yang memang tidak begitu bayak kegiatan, saya dan teman saya pergi ke tempat pemutaran film. Tak disangka kami memulai obrolan seru, pernikahan.

Dimulai dari cerita teman saya. Dia merasa heran dengan teman temannya dimana dia dilahirkan. Menurut teman saya, teman-temannya itu sedikit lebih cepat untuk memutuskan menikah. Teman saya masih berada di semester enam perkuliahan, sedangkan mayoritas teman di kampungnya sudah menikah dan tak sedikit diantaranya telah menghasilkan anak.

Dalam perbincangan itu kami seru berkomentar dan berpendapat kenapa hal itu terjadi. Obrolan dimulai dari kondisi ekonomi tempat tersebut, sejarah keluarga pelaku, akses pendidikan, akses kesehatan dan keumuman daerah tersebut dalam hal menikah.

Sampai ahirnya obrolan tersebut terhenti karena saya mulai keluar jalur dari borolan tentang pernikahan. Saya merasa ahir-ahir ini sedikit jenuh dengan kehidupan yang saya jalani. Dan tak disangka dia juga merasa demikian.

Dan dengan isengnya kami hubungkan kejenuhan akan rutinitas kita terhadap kehidupan yang kita jalani dengan alasan kenapa orang orang di kampung temen saya itu memutuskan untuk menyegerakan menikah diawal usia dua puluhan.

Ahirnya kita sepakat bahwa kemungkinan pernikahan itu terjadi adalah saat kita merasa sudah cukup "mencoba" segala pola hidup dan gaya hidup yang ada dan ahirnya fokus untuk memulai yang baru, pernikahan.
