A Cup of Tea

As I told you before that I got so many advantages by using twitter in the internet, not only following news update, but also getting new inspiration.

One of inspirations that I got from twitter is a lesson that hidden in a cup of tea. We sometimes consume a cup of tea without any thinking what lesson behind it, but after reading this, I start to understand that there is a lesson in our common habitual action.
Further, I believe that so many lessons that we will get from every single thing that common to do in our daily life as long as we concern about :)

A Cup Of Tea
" A group of students, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old teacher. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests tea, the teacher went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of tea and an assortment of cups – porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to the tea.

When all the students had a cup of tea in hand, the professor said: ‘If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the tea. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was tea, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups… And then you began eyeing each other’s cups too.

Now consider this: Life is the tea; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the tea Allah has provided us.’ Allah brews the tea, not the cups. Enjoy tea. "

How Expert Are You in Twisting??

Hohoho, one day, I was watching tv and seeing the commercial break, yeah. There was an unique product named Twister! I don't like the product actually, but I like the name of the product. Hohooh

Then, I recall the old conversation about twisting words.

"Six sick hicks nick six slick bricks with picks and sticks"

"Luke Luck likes lakes.
Luke's duck likes lakes.
Luke Luck licks lakes.
Luck's duck licks lakes.
Duck takes licks in lakes Luke Luck likes.
Luke Luck takes licks in lakes duck likes.
from Dr. Seuss' Fox in Socks"

"Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?"

"I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish, but if you wish the wish the witch wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish."

"Did Dick Pickens prick his pinkie pickling cheap cling peaches in an inch of Pinch or framing his famed French finch photos?"

Hahaha, have you tried them??

Perhaps you wonder whether I am expert or not in twisting word, so please believe me that being expert in twisting costs much thing, not also you need much more time to practice but also you have to be ready for feeling something numb in your tongue. Hohoohho.

So, how expert I am in twisting word? Hahaha perhaps reminding "Mr. Pronunciation" that I got when I joined an english course will suite you. Hahahaha, trust me, that's name-caller is not because of my expertise in twisting, but in how bad I was! LMAO

So, how expert are you in twisting word!??

Hi, I am back. Let's "Belajar Heran dari Negri Jiran"

Hello
Long time no see
Hahahaah. I spent couple month without any posting this blog. Hohoho. My apology

Yesterday, I went to book store and bought a book. Actually I wanted to buy more books, but my financial in that time did not suppose me, so I just bought a book.

The book is titled: Belajar Heran dari Negeri Jiran (2012), Written by Bambang. I don't know why I bought it. But for surely when I saw the cover and the title, it was like, "Gee, I getta grab this book and read it as fast as possible". Then I go to cashier and I read it immediately, even, I have to admit that I unwrapped the book when in the line. Hahahaha

Yup, the book store was a bit crowded in that time. So I gotta in the line to cashier.

I just like reading the book. The book gave me so much information about how to get scholarship from foreign country, how to write a paper and thesis, how need a struggle when we want to get Ph.D. And what I'm just uncommon sense is whe the author told the reader that how hard his effort was to get job here (Indonesia) and how surprise he was when he tried to apply to be lecture in Malaysia.

Not only gave me more understandings about education in Malaysia, in the end of this book, the author also gave clearly explanation that how great Malaysia in his struggle to bring Malaysia as a developed country. Yeah it was good explanation, though.

I am NOT an executive salesman of this book, but if you want to know about the progress of education in Malaysia or you are kind of the one who really concerns about education, this book is highly recommended to read.

Cinta Cenat Cenut 2

Iseng banget ada tivi nganggur dan muter sinetron Cinta Cenat Cenut dua di Transtv
Katanya sih lagi pada rame bola, double red on battle

Ya pokoknya si CCC 2 keren, dalam artian gamapng ditebak bahwa target penontonnya pasti remaja SMP SMA soalnya ya, kalau anak kuliahan rada aneh, at least on my opinion yaaa

Kalau dibanding bandingin, drama remaja macam gini kok beda sangat ya ma pabrikan hollywood, bandingkan saja dengan cerita Gossip Girl atau Beverly Hill
Beda sangat

Benar benar beda

Pilihan menonton tayangan pilihan anda

Mari jadi penonton bijak

*hohohoh gaya banget ya gaya saya, hahahah*

Let's Create Our Own Life Maps

My speaking class has everybody in the class to take part in speaking contest in the class, not really contest actually. We just need to perform in front of the class to persuade thing, I meant we have to deliver persuasive speech in the front of the class.

So that I search to find out interesting stuff to be shared with the class
My time schedule was so messy in that time I thought I need something like map but to discover a whole thing of my life. So I find this pretty cool article from the internet

Please read. I bet you won't be regret at all
Happy reading:

Breakfast in bed, flowers and a dinner out… perfect gifts from your loved one. But you as Mom need one more --a gift from yourself, a chance to look at your life, your dreams and make sure you are going in the right direction.

Soccer, dance, playing Barbies, vacuuming, cleaning, washing, cooking, shopping, paying bills, reading, working, doctor appointments... It is no wonder that moms sometimes lose a sense of self. We are doing, but are we being? Moms may sense something is missing, but if asked what it is or what they actually want, they really don't know.

At some point, many moms go through what I did a few years ago. I found myself in tears. I loved my family, my life, my home and my friends, but something was missing. I was missing me--my sense of self. I decided to take a look at my life and realized I needed a road map. Instead of looking at where I was going, I had put my journey on hold until later. It was time to include my journey in the family map.

I set a goal; something to do for me. Through the process of setting this one goal, I started a ball rolling. One goal led to another. And with the goals, I found myself. I am more balanced and guess what, so is my family.

Creating your Life Map

A road map for life has three main components. Dreams represent your destination. The activities are comprised of all the different options you have to reach the destination --different roads, different forms of travel, different resting areas, and different scenery along the way. Finally, goals are your itinerary--the final decisions about how to travel, which road to take, where to stop along the way, how long to take, where to stay, and what to see.

Dreams, activities and goals are integral components of your life map. Without dreams, we don't have a reason to start. They provide the inspiration and the excitement, but as you know, you can't just do a dream. You have to figure out all the activities that can be done to reach that destination. You then need to take these activities and turn them into small, specific and achievable goals. As you accomplish these goals, step by step, you are that much closer to your dream. The following steps will guide you in creating your life map.

Dreams - Destination

Write down at least fifty things you dream of doing. These could be things you wished for as a child or things you wish for now. Big dreams, small dreams, realistic, or unrealistic. Don't pre-judge them, just write them all down.

Take three minutes and write down all the things you would do if you found out that something would happen to you in one year. (Don't worry about details; just focus on your dreams.)

Compare the lists. What did you put in the second list? These are the things that are really important to you.

Pick, from both lists, five dreams on which you would like to focus. You can do most everything you want in life, but you can't do everything all at once.

Activities - Directions

Record the different activities or actions you can take to achieve each dream. Again, don't pre-judge the activities, just write down everything you think of. The more you come up with, the more opportunities you will come across. For example if your dream is to become financially free, some possible activities are to save money, invest, get a part-time job, get a better job, cut out one latte a day, take lunch to work, trade childcare, walk to places, take local trips, etc.

Goals - Itinerary

Goal-setting is creating the actual map using your listed dreams and activities.

1. Goals must have dates (e.g., I will complete my education by the time my son is six).

2. Goals must be specific (e.g., I will start walking and lifting weights every week to get fit).

3. Goals must be possible. If you have never skated, you likely won't become a gold medalist, but you could set a goal to learn to figure skate.

4. Goals are incremental. You need long-term, short-term, weekly and daily goals.

5. You must write down your goals and commit to them. A great idea is to do this activity with a friend and share your goals, thus creating a stronger commitment.

I personally have achieved every goal to which I have written and committed.

Starting with at least one dream, use the guidelines above and set your goals. Add your other dreams to complete the map. You now have your road map; you need to use it. Refer to it daily so that you don't get lost. Make changes as necessary. Add new goals as you achieve others.

Change of Plans

Just as when traveling with a road map, following your life map isn't static. When traveling you may run into detours, closed roads, or have forgotten something and have to go back while following your life map. You may decide that you would like to spend more time at one of the stops along the way. You may realize you don't even like the destination when you get there. Your life map may raise similar issues. You may run into challenges along the way. You may have to adjust your course and re-do sections or goals. You definitely need to evaluate your plans along the way, but you will get much closer to your destination if you have a map than without one!

You will be amazed at the success you will find from doing this activity. By becoming aware of your dreams you start to see opportunities all around that will lead to them. Things you had thought were impossible will occur. Re-evaluate your life map annually. Your dreams change, your life changes, opportunities change, your children grow and have different needs, and the journey changes -- but make sure you always have the map to follow. Remember, you need to take care of yourself so you can take better care of others
